003 ☆ [Video] Backdated to this morning.

[Good morning everyone, please enjoy the overly-excited grin of a certain fifteen-year-old princess. She's wearing a large fuzzy Santa hat, having clearly slept in it by how messy her hair is. She happily cradles an egg in her lap.]

Guys! It's Christmas morning! Did Santa bring anyone any awesome stuff?

[Because someone out there needed to be reminded what day it is.]

Thanks for whoever sent me this egg! It didn't have a tag on it, so I'm not really sure who sent it. I'll be sure to return the favor, okay?

Wouldn't be the first time this has happened. Maybe it's a pick-me-up from Arceus after that whole mess at the falls.

[It's said half-jokingly, because flying Stantler are kinda conclusive, but darn it. His pride...]

[There's a one-shouldered shrug while he moves the egg to his other arm.]

Point is, we got an egg. Maybe it'll be like what happened last time, and we wind up with some shiny Pokémon.

[And right on cue, a black Charizard pokes her head into the room, letting out a low groan. Did somebody call her name? Are there snacks?

Riku chuckles and shrugs.]

Shiny Pokémon have this habit of sparkling. And they're usually different colors.

[Cinder ducks her head as he says this, still a bit shy about her scales.]

I always thought Charizards just came in black too.

[Cinder who knew you were so rare?]

Nah. Well, technically they do, but it's rare. All shiny Pokémon are pretty hard to come by.

[Cinder taps her claws together, then sheepishly lumbers out the door. Oh, this is so embarrassing!]
