[Ladies and gentlemen of the internet, please enjoy for your viewing pleasure, a mortified-looking Kairi wearing a bizarre dress. Those familiar with the girl know this is a far departure from the normal tank top and jean skirt she normally wears. Thankfully, whoever dressed her spared her of the hat. This does, however, also show that her face now shares the same delightful shade of red as her hair.

The sign she's holding makes it abundantly clear what is going on:

I challenged Ilya to a fight and thought I could avoid the consequences of my actions. I was wrong. Also don't you think this outfit is cute on me?

Yep, looks like Kairi's lost a bet and is learning the valuable lesson of what happens when you run your mouth.]

[She groans.]

Um... [ Kairi's obviously upset, so... ] You look very nice in it... at least?

[Even if it's just because you pity her right now.]

[ She's more than willing to return the hug! And for good measure... ]

I've... been practicing my baking. Do you... want anything?

[Kairi's baking skills suck, so it's awesome that someone in this family knows how to cook.]

[ Naminé doesn't think her baking skills are much to write home about, but... well. She'll be more than happy to lead Kairi to the kitchen. ]

Um... what should I make? I think we have the ingredients for chocolate chip cookies.

Definitely. [She smiles.]

If you'd like... I wouldn't want you to get that outfit dirty. But, could you get me flour, sugar, and... baking soda?

Ilya better be footing the dry cleaning bill on this thing.

[She mumbles to herself, going to the pantry and fetching what Namine asked.]

I'm sure she will... I think she worked hard on it.

Yeah, I guess so.

[She sets the ingredients on the counter and steps back to let her sister work her magic.]

I'd probably like it a lot more if I wasn't the one wearing it.

[shatterings]

You have to wear it for a whole week...? No breaks?

[ Naminé's gotten the other ingredients out, so she works on measuring out the dry ones. Soon enough, the softened butter goes in, and she stirs that all together. ]

I don't have to sleep in it. [Thankfully.]

But other than that, I'm at Ilya's beck and call.

[shatterings]

I... can't imagine it's very comfortable to sleep in.

[ Tough break, sis. Naminé adds in vanilla, eggs, and of course, the chocolate chips. ]

It's not very comfortable, period.

[It would be awesome to just let someone else wear it for a while so she can go be a normal person.]

Actually-- hey, Nams?

[ She's just about to scoop the dough onto cookie sheets when she turns to Kairi. ]

Wanna trade places later? I've got a red wig we can use and everything.

[This is a big ask, Kairi.]

I just need to take a break for a little while. Ilya won't know the difference.

[shatterings]

[ Well... it's hard to say no. Especially when Kairi looks so earnest... ]

I-I'm not sure that's exactly true...

[ But she hugs her back, smiling. You owe her, sis. ]

Well... I hope the cookies turn out okay, too.

They're gonna be amazing, I just know it.

[ ... even if Naminé never says it... She lets Kairi go and puts the sheet in the oven, then sets the timer. ]
